Merry Christmas

I'd just like to say a huge thank-you to all of the support you have given to your child and to Room 7 throughout the year. I've absolutely loved this year in Room 7 where we have all shared a lot of laughter and smiles along with being able to watch academic and personal growth amongst everyone in the class.
I will miss everyone very much as I move to my new school but will always remember my very first two classes of my teaching career with fond memories.

I wish you all a happy and safe holiday,

Abi :-)

A rainbow came out !She kept on walking down the street to find more junk and she found a wig.Yes,a wig.And when she put it in the yellow bag...A clown came out.A very silly clown. Then she kept on walking down the street but there was no more junk except for a water bottle. She put it in the bag and an ocean came out !An  ocean filled with fish.Whenever she found a piece of junk again she knew exactly what to do.By Sam

the tornado

The air starts to create rough noises, windows creaking and the houses make one more move and WHOOSH!!! darkness falls no light at all.WHOOSH!!!The deep darkness made sand swirl  around and around.Smoke rising above and the houses only have one more thing left to do say their goodbyes. As the young house gets colder and colder, his good old rusty friend closed his eyes and the young house walked off on his journey hoping to find a new friend.THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Home Sweet Home

Wooshhh!  The two old houses were in a whirl of wind. When sand blew everywhere. The two houses were terrified, gritty sand in there mouth. The houses could see black everywhere and sand
and dust. The houses were creaking like they're going to break into a pile of wood and bricks. The
two house were alive from the storm .Crack the house were sitting by a fire and putting wood in
the flaming fire . They were sad.

The Whistleless Bird

Last week Room 7 watched a clip about the Whistleless Bird. They used their great writing skills to recount what happened in the video and used adjectives, feelings and adverbs to make their writing more interesting for the reader.

The Whistleless Bird

One day there was a bird called Whistleless. He wanted to whistle so he asked his big, red, friendly birds to teach him how to whistle, but he couldn't do it. Whistleless was sad and angry at the same time, you couldn't predict what he was feeling.

So he went to a man who was showering to teach him how to whistle and slipped because he was not focussed on showering.

So whistleless went to the policeman. The policeman teaches Whistleless to whistle but... Whistleless couldn't do it. Poor Whistleless still can't whistle, well he's a little bird.

A little girl came and picked up Whistleless and the young girl put Whistleless on a swing and played with Whistleless.

Oh no! A tiger! Whistleless hated tigers but he trusts this one, turns out tigers are smart!

Whistleless Bird

Small, sad, whistleless bird couldn't whistle so he went to three big, red, happy birds and they taught him how to whistle, but it didn't work. So he went to the soapy man that was in the shower and he tried to teach Whistleless how to whistle and kept on doing it. Suddenly the man in the soapy shower fell over.

Meanwhile, a little later Whistleless bird went to the policeman to see how to whistle by watching the policman using his big red whistle. Whistleless bird go t picked up by a beautiful, young, happy girl. She took Whistleless bird to the park and the beautiful girl pushed orange Whistleless bird slowly on the big swing.

Meanwhile, a little later, he went over to the huge, stripy tiger to learn how to whistle. He sounded like a big saxophone when he whistled.

After that, Whistleless went back to the policeman to watch him but he stole his whistle and made lots of trouble by blowing the policeman's whistle. All of the cars were in a bunch and some had crashed as well. Then the whistleless bird gave the whistle back to the policeman.
